The Plot
The play is a journey of two characters, the Grandfather, who is from Suhmatah, who is searching for memories on the blasted and covered ground of Suhmata, and his grandson who was born and raised in Haifa.
In Suhmata, the grandfather takes his grandson on a voyage through the stories of the people who lived there. When the young man stands on the ground of Suhmata the memories of his people and of the catastrophe come alive in him.
The play was written in English, and was performed in the USA and Canada in 1996.
